Human Nature

This foreign body is my own body. And it is yours. We have as many layers as shedding trees. Sometimes peeling is a natural process, other times it is caused by injury or disease. When bare wood is visible, the tree is suffering from severe damage. At times, in that area, the bark will never grow back. I met myself on a winter night. Since then, I feel the urge to destratify humanity to see what's left. Of you, and of myself.
